Monter thérapie Association. recognizes that it has primary responsibility over all personal information. Basic principles to protect personal information are mentioned in the following.
■Defining personal information
Personal information includes the following which may be used to identify a specific individual.
- Name, address, date of birth, sex, occupation, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
- Information that cannot be used to identify a specific individual but can easily be cross-checked with other information to identify a specific individual.
■Use of personal information/providing information to a third party
Personal information offered by customers will be used for the following.
- To offer valuable and attractive services
- Sending documents and catalogs
- Sending information through e-mail (mail magazine)
- Acknowledging customers on their feedback and requests
- Contacting customers regarding issues
When personal information needs to be used for purposes which do not match the above, the customer will be notified beforehand. Information will not be presented without permission from the customer. But when information is to be used for purposes which matches the following, information may be provided to a third party.
- The disclosure of personal information where the individual customer cannot be identified
- When disclosure of information is ordered by the law, administrative guidance, or public office
- When disclosure of information is accepted by law
- For public interest, public health, protection of human life and property, and when there are difficulties gaining permission from the customer
■Management of personal information
- To manage personal information, Monter thérapie Association will implement an education program for all our staff and post a chief administrator in divisions where personal information is handled.
- For information in automatic processing systems, reasonable technical measures will be taken to prevent the loss, fabrication, and leaking of personal information and to protect these information from unauthorized invasions.
- Personal information offered will only be used to develop better products and services, and to deliver useful information to our customers.
■Strict adherence to applicable laws and regulations
Monter thérapie Association will follow with strict adherence the Japanese laws and regulations concerning personal information.
■Changes in the basic policy
The basic policy may be altered if necessary. Announcements will not be made to customers individually so please check this page for new information.
